    Dry Beneficiation of Fine Coal in India
The U.S. Department of State has awarded CAST a grant (S-LMAQM-07-GR-341) to investigate and implement dry beneficiation of coal in India. The Executive Summary gives details of the project. The Principal Investigators are Roe-Hoan Yoon and Jerry Luttrell.

What is CAST?
CAST is a consortium of seven universities - Virginia Tech, West Virginia University, University of Kentucky, Montana Tech, New Mexico Tech, University of Nevada Reno and University of Utah.

CAST was formed in 2001 under the auspices of the U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) to conduct both fundamental and applied research in technologies that can be used to produce coal and mineral concentrates in an efficient and environmentally acceptable manner.
